Tour operator All America Holidays has ceased trading, the Civil Aviation Authority has confirmed.
The Lowestoft-based company, which also traded as Ski All America, sold holidays to the US, Canada and Latin America.
As the operator was covered by an ATOL and was a member of ABTA, customers who booked a package including a flight may be able to claim a refund.
An ABTA spokesman said: “ABTA terminated All America Holidays’ membership on Friday when it informed us that it had ceased trading. We believe most of the business was covered by ATOL. There were more forward bookings than anticipated, so we are looking into that.”
Accommodation-only provider Getabed is stepping in to help customers. Sales director Mark Hopper said: “The US is our number one destination, so we are here to help out. We’ll do our best to match bookings. It may be tough to get people re-booked at short notice, but we can help for summer bookings.”
