The fourth and final ship in the line’s Breakaway-Plus class is due to enter service from Miami in November 2019.
More details on the 4,000-passenger ship’s design, accommodations, dining and onboard offerings will be revealed in the coming months, according to the company
The 167,800-ton ship is being built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
Norwegian Encore will sail from Miami on Sundays on seven-day eastern Caribbean cruises between November 17, 2019 and April 12, 2020.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings president and CEO Frank Del Rio played a key role in selecting Arranz-Bravo as hull artist, having been inspired by his work for many years.
He said: “We are well-known for our iconic hull designs and know that Arranz-Bravo’s lively design will complement the colourful destinations in the Caribbean that Norwegian Encore will visit when she debuts next year.”
