Iglu appoints Dave Mills to new supply director role

Iglu has moved Dave Mills to the newly created role of global supply director to support UK growth and international expansion.

In his new position, Mills, who is currently product and commercial director, will report into Simone Clark, senior vice president of global supply.

Beth Hulett has moved over from the commercial team to become the global supply manager and support Mills in his new role.

Iglu is currently recruiting for a replacement for Mills.

The OTA said it was planning to recruit a commercial director for cruise to continue to drive the company’s exponential growth in the UK and abroad.

Clark said: “Our suppliers and cruise line partnerships are paramount.

“The creation of the global supply director role allows us to have more time to focus on developing our relationships and building on current success particularly in the UK, while seeking new opportunities for growth.

“It will also allow more time to focus on our international partners in Italy, France and Spain, after a year of successful trading in these markets.

“We will now have more time out on the road, face to face with our partners, which I feel is invaluable.”

Iglu has recently strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Yusef Khan as operations director.

Khan joined Iglu from Centrica, where he was responsible for innovation.

He runs Iglu’s sales and customer service team but is looking at the company’s processes and technology in his role.

The appointments follow the announcement in August that Inghams’ Simon McIntyre will be joining as general manager of Iglu’s ski division.

McIntyre starts his role later this month.
