A GROUPof 12 airlines are to unveil a major new loyalty programme on March 30.
The carriers are expected to sign up with high-street brands to offer customers the chance to earn frequent-flyer points with purchases, similar to British Airways’ Air Miles.
Chester-based travel promotions firm Landround, which operates incentive schemes, will run the Buy and Fly! initiative.
The dozen carriers are British Midland, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Virgin Express, KLM/Alitalia, Singapore Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Icelandair, Canadian Airlines, Swissair, Sabena and Jersey European Airways.
