Celebrity Cruises is to launch a new online platform through which agents can access sales and marketing tools, training and learning assets.
The portal, Celebrity Central, launches on October 4 and is the line’s largest-ever investment in a trade resource.
For the first time, agents will need only one log-in to access all Celebrity’s trade resources.
Through Celebrity Central, agents will have access to booking platform Airwaves, Celebrity Rewards, Celebrity Toolkit, Celebrity news, Celebrity Campaigns and Celebrity Passport, which will replace Cruising for Excellence.
Celebrity Passport will feature bite-sized, mobile-friendly modules that can be completed in five minutes. Agents will earn stamps in their ‘passport’ for each group of modules they complete.
Nicola McNeish, Celebrity Cruises’ head of sales, said: “If you want to do a five-minute module on your way to work – you can now do it.”
Twelve agents have worked with Celebrity Cruises for the past year to help develop the agent portal.
Celebrity is targeting 5,000 agent sign-ups to Celebrity Central by March.
Sales director Claire Stirrup said: “To date, agents have needed to remember to visit multiple websites, apply various log-ins and generally spend a little more time than we would like getting to the right place.
“That now changes, with everything in one easily-searchable place. Celebrity Central is our largest ever agent-dedicated investment and it delivers the most positive changes for agents since we became a standalone team over four years ago.”
