Travel Network Group launches online services for members

TTA and Worldchoice parent The Travel Network Group has launched a new services for its agent members to develop new websites and manage content.

‘Online Services’ will offer members advice and guidance on hosting their own site and promoting holidays from feeds negotiated by the group.

The service costs £20 a month with a £249 set-up fee which will provide access to a website an four online seminars and webinars throughout the year.

Members will also be able to use online support manuals through the Group’s internal intranet The Hub.

In addition they will also be able to access Google advertising pay per click services, search engine optimisation Support, call centre support and website health check reports.

Si Morris-Green, group marketing director, said: “Providing an on-line facility is often daunting and challenging for members and research undertaken by our marketing team has shown that many members continue to need help and guidance when it comes to managing their websites.

“In response to this, we will now be offering a brand new service to members, giving them the opportunity to purchase a new website and receive on-going help, support and guidance.

“Differentiating yourself from your competitors and gaining that all-important competitive advantage is crucial in today’s fast-moving travel industry, with consumers wanting access to a website as well as in-store offering more than ever.

“We have found that whilst many of our members do have an online proposition, many don’t and don’t always have the time or budget to develop their own.”

Morris-Green added: “Members’ businesses will gain more credibility, because if they’re not set up properly online prospective customers will go elsewhere, and their customers can be more easily kept informed of their business and offers by live feeds – it can be the online brochure rack and brand differentiator all in one.’’

“Setting up and building websites will just be the start. Once a member’s website is fully established we will be on-hand to support them every step of the way with SEO and PPC support and further webinars, seminars and of course the support centre.

“We have also put together three categories of website plan to choose from, with online solutions to suit members and their business.”
