Travel recruitment consultancy C&M Travel Recruitment has launched a finance division to provide travel firms with specialist staff with financial experience.

Traditionally, travel firms have recruited finance staff through non-travel recruitment firms, said C&M Travel Recruitment managing director Angus Chisholm. “We will now be able to offer genuine financial expertise coupled with a strong understanding of the travel businesses” he said.

The company has recruited Jim Gervaise-Brazier, who previously worked as product manager for TUI and most recently worked in the City, specialising in financial and accounting recruitment.

He approached C&M with the idea of creating a specialist division to provide finance staff for the travel industry.

Chisholm said: “Jim spotted a gap in the travel sector for a skilled financial recruitment team with travel knowledge. He will lead the division for us. It is a logical step for us as we recruit across the travel industry and have always assisted customers in accounts and finance.”
