Thomas Cook UK and Ireland and Holiday Extras have launched a new venture offering online consumers additional booking options.

The new deal will mean every time a visitor makes a search on, three parking options and airport additional airport lounges from the Holiday Extras system will also be displayed.

Consumers will then be able to decide whether or not to book the additional options.

Holiday Extras head of sales David Stratton said: “Research shows that 40% of travellers flying from the UK want to book airport parking or a hotel.

“With this new system that we’re launching, the best possible prices for airport car parking and lounges are presented to the customer at the right time.”

Thomas Cook UK and Ireland director of e-commerce Russell Gould said: “This is a natural fit for our customers.”
