Connections has launched its 2010 Elegant River Cruises programme featuring new itineraries in Europe and on the Nile in Egypt.
They include an eight-day springtime cruise along the Rhine from Amsterdam to Frankfurt from late-March to mid-April including tours of Cologne, Mainz and a visit to the Keukenhof Gardens.
A 15-day Grand France itinerary combines a cruise on the Seine, with visits to Monet’s garden at Giverny, with a week on the Rhone and Saone through Burgundy and Provence.
The Rhine cruise costs from £1,395 per person, with Grand France leading in at £3,095. Prices include flights, transfers, all shore excursions and the company’s VIP Home Departure Service providing airport transfers in the UK.
In Egypt, Connections has four Nile cruises on the 82-passenger River Tosca including an eight-day return cruise from Luxor to Aswan from £1,695 per person including flights, UK and overseas transfers, and shore excursions.
The brochure also features cruises to visit Christmas markets in November and December. The eight-day Danube Festive Markets trip goes from Budapest to Munich, visiting the markets of Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Passau, including an excursion to Salzburg. Prices lead in at £1,745 per person including flights and overseas and UK transfers and all tours.
The eight-day Festive Paris Cruise includes tours of Paris, Rouen and a recital by the choir of St Evode Cathedral in Les Andelys, and costs from £1,745 per person including flights, transfers and excursions.
