Flight consolidator The Holiday Team has launched a hotel-only booking engine for travel agents.
Following the model for flight sales, the hotels will be offered at net rates allowing agents to build in their own commission levels.
Sales director Rajan Sawhney said: “It’s a natural step for us to expand our offering to include hotels in all major long-haul destinations including Australia, the Far East, Dubai and the US.
“We’ve come up with an excellent product that has been thoroughly tested. By launching the accommodation option we are moving the business forward and giving agents what they want.
“We want the trade to use us to book complete long-haul travel arrangements.”
