Crystal Cruises launches agent campaign

Crystal Cruises has launched an agent campaign to help the trade increase sales of the ultra-luxury line.


‘Take a fresh look at Crystal’ comes hard on the heels of the appointment of former Association of Cruise Experts director Andy Harmer as UK sales and marketing director.


The campaign includes several initiatives, including the launch later this month of a dedicated agent website – discovercrystal.co.uk – where agents will be able to find product details and ship reviews, and access the cruiseline’s online training programme.


Crystal is relaunching its ‘Sell 3 Sail Free’ incentive, offering agents who make three bookings a free cruise in a balcony stateroom for themselves and a partner. It is also introducing a weekly newsletter for the trade.


The cruiseline is also hosting four roadshows this month where agents can get product updates and details about its plans for 2010. They are at Gatwick, Manchester, Belfast and Glasgow on September 14, 23, 28, and 30, respectively.


Harmer said: “This campaign re-affirms our commitment to agents as we aim to provide them with whatever they need to sell our product.”
