Air France to make 1,500 voluntary redundancies

Air France is to implement a voluntary redundancy plan to make 1,500 staff redundant.

The company has told its Workers’ Council that is expects to start discussions this week.

Air France said it would have to cut jobs because of a restructuring plan and cuts in capacity of 5%.
