AITO Specialist Travel Agents is to launch the second edition of its brochure, focusing on special occasions.
The brochure, which will be launched at AITO Week from October 3 to 10, contains incentives such as free room upgrades, restaurant meals and hot-air balloon rides for the engagements and birthdays market.
AITO members featured in the brochure include Aspects of Tunisia, Baltic Holidays, Cedarberg African Travel, Discover, Indus Tours and Travel, InsideJapan Tours, Okavango Tours and Safaris, Safari Consultants and Specialised Tours and Visions Holiday Group.
Numerous UK agents will partake in promotions, competitions, drinks and lunches to support the week. Planned events include a competition to win a holiday to Turkey with Robert Broad Travel in association with Anatolian Sky, and a luncheon hosted by Haslemere Travel, in Surrey.
The week will be promoted by agency window displays and an AITO Week supplement is scheduled to appear in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday October 3.
AITO Specialist Travel Agents chairman Barry Moxley said: “Last year’s inaugural AITO Week proved a considerable success and we are keen to develop our relationships with customers across the UK. AITO Week highlights the choice of out-of-the-ordinary breaks on offer through AITO Specialist Travel Agents and the ease with which they can be booked with the help of expert staff.
“AITO Week illustrates our strength in developing that all important face-to-face contact with customers.”
