Sandals and Beaches Resorts has added 50 new suites to its second Sandals resort on Barbados: Sandals Royal Barbados.
It brings the total number of rooms at Sandals Royal Barbados up to 272 and the group’s total amount on the Caribbean island to 552.
Sandals Royal Barbados resort opened in December 2017, boasting several firsts for the brand – including Sandals’ first rooftop infinity pool and beachfront glass infinity pool. It also offers a barber shop for men and a four-lane bowling alley.
The all-inclusive couples resort at St Lawrence Gap features Butler and Club Level suites, and is next door to Sandals Barbados.
Elsewhere on Barbados, the company is developing a family-friendly Beaches Barbados resort in St Peter, on the site of a former sugar plantation.
This will be the fourth Beaches Resorts property, including the flagship resort in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, and other properties in Negril and Ochos Rios, Jamaica.
