Efteling – the fairytale theme park in southern Holland – has opened a themed suite at the Efteling Hotel, which is a five-minute walk from the park.
The Raveleijn Suite is designed to reflect Efteling’s park show, Raveleijn, which tells the legend of five riders that rescue a village from the rule of evil Count Olaf Grafhart and his five-headed monster.
The luxury room features Count Olaf Grafhart and his wife countess Halina’s bedroom, a secret passage – behind a bookcase with audio and visual effects – and a second bedroom for kids replicating ‘The Tower Room of the Order of the Raven’, where the riders hold secret meetings.
The new room also has adapted furniture and is decorated with some of the riders’ helmets and masks, as well as various toys that illustrate the Raveleijn story.
The starting price for the Raveleijn Suite is €550 for one night/two days, excluding reservation costs and overnight tax.
