The Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT) is to hold its 2010 conference in Benidorm, Spain.
It will be the second time in four years that the ITT has held its annual event in Spain. The conference will be from June 7-9 at the Barcelo-owned Asia Gardens Hotel and Thai Spa.
Speakers already confirmed include former director-general of the CBI Digby Jones and Channel 4 Television Corporation chairman Luke Johnson, who in 1992, organised the acquisition of Pizza Express and floated the business on the stock market at 40p.
ITT chairman Steven Freudmann, who announced the venue at last night’s ITT President’s Dinner, said: “We are going back to [the industry’s] roots. As usual, there will be a strict cap on the number of delegates and we will take over the entire hotel for the conference.”
The conference will open for bookings during World Travel Market in November.
