Fred.\ River Cruises has been appointed new UK general sales agent for Asian river cruise specialist Pandaw.
The move is designed to attract a wider UK audience to tailor make Pandaw trips.
Pandaw runs luxury small ship river cruises in Asia including the Mekong river in China, the Chindwin in Burma and the Ganges in the Himalayas.
Pandaw founder Paul Strachan said: “We are absolutely thrilled to form this strategic partnership with Fred Olsen Travel.
“This gives us the reach into the UK domestic market to expand awareness of our unique product. It’s a joy also to be working with such serious and professional people.”
Fred Olsen Travel and Fred.\ River Cruises managing director Steve Williams said: “Pandaw is a name that has been synonymous with small ship river cruising for many years.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to represent such an iconic brand.
“We are looking forward to working with our trade partner network and developing UK sales for Paul and his team.”
Sailings will now be available to book with international flights as well as pre or post-cruise hotel stays.
Guests can tailor-make their own itineraries with help from Fred.\ River Cruises’ staff.
Packages start at £4,035 per person for a seven-night Mekong cruise including a two-night stay in Saigon in Vietnam.
