The second edition of Shearings Holidays’ Europe brochure, featuring the operator’s biggest selection of holidays by air, and 11 new coach itineraries, has been released.
There are 21 new ‘Go By Air’ holidays to destinations such as Bulgaria, Russia, Madeira, the Baltic capitals, Cyprus, Scandinavia, Morocco and Iceland.
Many tours take customers to destinations that Shearings has not featured before, as they are too far away or inaccessible to reach by coach on a seven-day break. Many of Shearings’ coach tours are also available to join by air.
The Go By Air tours have two categories. ‘Tour and Explore’ offers traditional escorted touring itineraries, while ‘Stay and Discover’ breaks are based in one hotel, from where customers can join excursions.
Jane Atkins, Shearings’ managing director, said: “Our Go By Air tours are a really important development and thanks to our new Travelink reservations system, they are all bookable online.
“Flight-inclusive touring is a natural extension for an operator like us, which has its history firmly embedded in touring. The new tours allow us to offer our customers an extra layer of choice.”
Go By Air holidays include Authentic Bulgaria in the Tour & Explore category, which costs from £1,569 for seven nights, including flights, accommodation and six excursions. Cyprus Delights is a Stay & Discover seven-night holiday in Paphos, starting from £769, including three excursions.
The 11 new coach tours include a break to see the Paris Air Show; a Little Trains of the Dolomites tour; and an Efteling Theme Park and Amsterdam short break.
