ITC’s Drew Foster dies

ITC Classics chairman Drew Foster has died aged 65.

In a statement, ITC Classics chief executive officer Jennifer Atkinson said: “It is with great sadness that I confirm our charismatic chairman Drew Foster died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, October 15 2009.

“He was surrounded by his beloved family and passed away at home in Christleton, Cheshire.

“Drew had been suffering from cancer for several months. I, along with my colleagues at ITC Classics, will miss him greatly.”

As well as ITC Classics, which recently celebrated its 35th anniversary, Foster also established ITC Sports, Deva Travel, Caribbean Connection, Mauritius Connection and Complete Caribbean. Atkinson will continue to run all these companies in her capacity as chief executive.

Most recently he oversaw the purchase of Horse Racing Abroad, which was incorporated into ITC Sports.
