Sister brands Just You and Travelsphere have announced that Princess Cruises’ John Docherty will be joining as key account manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Docherty, territory business manager north at the cruise line, will join the touring specialists on February 11.
Escorted touring specialist Travelspere and its sister solo brand Just You said the brands had bolstered their joint sales team because of growing demand for touring holidays.
Managing director Alastair Campbell said: “Both Travelsphere and Just You are seeing an increasing demand for their tours departing from local airports, especially from Scotland and Northern Ireland.
“It is very important to us that we support our partners that have a customer base close to these airports. With the arrival of John as a key account manager, we have seen our UK trade team double in size over the last 12 months.
“John has excellent relationships with agents in Scotland and Northern Ireland and we are looking forward to helping grow their touring business.”
In Scotland, Just You and Travelsphere offer tours around the world via direct or connecting flights from Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports, from Croatia to India and Italy to South Africa.
“Northern Ireland offers us a huge opportunity so we made the decision to have a dedicated resource in both countries,” added Campbell.
