DELTA Air Lines and European partner Air France are to share a stand at World Travel Market this year.
The carriers will be highlighting the benefit of their alliance, which was formed this summer.
Other airlines at WTM include Cathay Pacific which will be showing off its new first-class seat which is due to be launched on Manchester flights in January.
Billed as the widest bed in the sky, it measures 22ins wide with a 79ins pitch and will be available at the stand for visitors to try out.
Sabena will have a new theme each day on its stand, to coincide with the carrier’s latest winter routes from Brussels to Madras, Seville, Verona, Bremen and Washington DC.
Major US carriers on show this year will include TWA and US Airways. The latter will be promoting its planned new route between Manchester and Philadelphia in May 2000, and the introduction of Airbus A330-300 aircraft on its transatlantic routes which will enable the carrier to offer a three-tier service with the introduction of a first-class cabin.
