Wellbeing latest Dunne deal

Industry marketing specialist Steve Dunne has become non-executive chairman of wellbeing market intelligence company Well Intelligence as it company targets the UK travel and hospitality sectors for growth.

The company provides market research, insights and commentary on trends within the $4.2 trillon global wellness economy to brands wanting to make the most of the fast-emerging sector.

It brings together leading commentators in the field, provides a global annual report on the sector, regular training workshops and a weekly insights bulletin for directors, marketers and brand managers.

Chief executive Anni Hood said: “We’re delighted that Steve is joining us as chairman.

“He will help bridge the gap between two sectors that want to work together to meet the increasing growth in interest that consumers have in wellbeing.”

Dunne said: “Wellbeing is rapidly becoming the next big thing in the travel sector, with consumers showing a growing interest in buying travel and hospitality experiences, products and services that include it.

“The problem for brand managers and travel marketers is where to start. There are so many trends, statistics and content flooding the sector it is difficult to know what is fact and what is a red herring.
