Joanna Edmunds is to replace Nick Hughes as managing director of Kuoni UK.
Edmunds, who is currently commercial director of the luxury operator, is to begin her new role on November 2. Hughes, who has been at Kuoni for two years, is to leave with immediate effect.
The managing director role has been altered to include more focus on sales and marketing and exclude responsibility for production.
Kuoni said in a statement that the move was part of its overall strategy. It said; “The group executive board would like to express its sincere gratitude to Nick Hughes for his work, dedication and commitment to Kuoni and wish him well in his future personal and professional endeavours.
“We also wish Joanna Edmunds success and satisfaction in her future efforts on behalf of Kuoni.”
Edmunds’ previous roles have included managing director of Thomas Cook Signature and development director for Thomson Holidays.
