Travelsphere and Just You have appointed two key account managers, with Graham Bishop covering the south of England, and John Docherty responsible for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Both will join the sister brands on February 11.
Docherty (pictured left) is currently territory business manager north at Princess Cruises, and Bishop will move from Cunard.
Escorted touring specialist Travelsphere and solo travel brand Just You said the brands had boosted their joint sales team because of growing demand for touring holidays.
Managing director Alastair Campbell said: “Both Travelsphere and Just You are seeing an increasing demand for their tours departing from local airports, especially from Scotland and Northern Ireland.
“It is very important to us that we support our partners that have a customer base close to these airports. With the arrival of John as a key account manager, we have seen our UK trade team double in size over the last 12 months.
“John has excellent relationships with agents in Scotland and Northern Ireland and we are looking forward to helping grow their touring business.”
In Scotland, Just You and Travelsphere offer tours around the world via direct or connecting flights from Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.
“Northern Ireland offers us a huge opportunity so we made the decision to have a dedicated resource in both countries,” added Campbell.
Docherty said: “With Travelsphere and Just You tailoring their offering for both the Scotland and Northern Ireland markets, it is an incredibly exciting time to join the business. Touring has a really loyal customer base and I am looking forward to supporting our agent partners as we build their business in this market.”
Commenting on the appointment of Bishop, head of sales Sarah Weetman said: “Graham joins the Just You and Travelsphere trade team with a wide range of travel experience, and at a time when we are seeing ever more momentum and demand for our market-leading offers.”
Bishop added: “Just You and Travelsphere are both leading the way in the escorted touring market, and with interest in this type of holiday on the increase, it is a really exciting time to join the business.”
