Do I have to take euros with me now?


No – although most European countries now display their prices in the local currency as well as Euros, coins and notes will not be in circulation until 2002. Until then, you can purchase items in euros using debit and credit cards or travellers cheques.



Yes. The pilot scheme allowing cats and dogs to be imported into the UK via certain approved routes provided that a number of conditions are strictly observed has started.
