Cruise & Maritime Voyages has appointed a new business development manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Ryan Carroll joins the cruise line from Hoseasons where he was national account manager.
The role has been created ahead of new departures from Aberdeen and Belfast in 2020.
Lisa Jacobs, head of trade sales and groups at CMV said: “Ryan comes with a wealth of experience with over 30 years in the travel industry, most recently with Hoseasons. We are excited to welcome him to the CMV team and look forward to continued expansion in the region bringing cruising closer to home.”
Carroll added: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining Cruise & Maritime Voyages at such an exciting time with their plans for Scotland & Northern Ireland. With more local departure points than any other UK cruise company, I am determined to ensure our mutual travel partners can share in this success further.”
Carroll’s appointment takes CMV’s trade team to 13.
