n cunard line looks at plans to move QE2



Cunard Line is considering moving its flagship QE2 to Harwich when its contract with the port of Southampton expires in April 2000. A spokesman said Cunard has inspected Harwich and if it is found to be commercially viable, the ship will be relocated.



n KLM and Alitalia in euro 2000 campaign



KLMand Alitalia have been chosen as the officialairlines for the Euro 2000 football championships, due to be held in four Dutch and four Belgian cities from July 10-July 2.



n coach operators set up quality consortium



Coach operators have started a consortium topromote quality coach travel in the UK. The Confederation of Independent TourOperators has been set up by seven coach tour companies, including Clapton Holidays, Bath and Eddie Brown Tours. All new members have to pass a criteria standard and can then display a CITOquality award in their office.
