Agents get down on hands and knees to welcome BA’s presents

AGENTS have been spotted literally falling over themselves to find out about British Airways.

Caught in a whirlwind of paper, staff were seen wrestling information off each other, arguing about facts and furiously thrusting forms towards eager BA representatives.

All decorum was lost as they found any space they could to fill in their forms. Some sat on the floor, some sat on the stairs and some on each other.

When the madness died down, intrepid Backchat ventured in to find out what all the fuss was about.

Job applications? Complaint letters? No, neither of these, just the chance to win tickets to Australia and other long-haul destinations.

The agents were invited to what BA styled ‘The World’s Biggest Party’, co-hosted by Travel Weekly, in Kensington’s Commonwealth Institute last week.

The point was to show off BA products, but the freebies certainly stole the show.

Agents arrived dressed to the nines to savour BA’s hospitality, but left dusty and dishevelled after scrabbling around on floors in their desperate rush to jet off to Oz and the Far East.

Good luck to the winners, you deserve it!
