Holiday Extras has launched a new-look incentive programme rewarding agents, managers, RSMs, entire shops and regions.
Its Travel Heroes programme is designed to offer a “more targeted and personal approach to reward and recognition”.
Each ‘Travel Hero’ could receive rewards based on personal sales growth, dedication and enthusiasm towards the Holiday Extras brand.
Spot prizes will be awarded by partnership development managers throughout the year, with outstanding contribution rewards being made available for those who have shown consistent dedication and results.
To launch the Travel Hero campaign, Holiday Extras rewarded Tui’s regional sales manager for Humberside, Donna Wynne, for consistent outstanding performance. She has encouraged agents in the region to help customers with their holiday planning, and has increased Tui’s focus on add-ons such as lounges.
She said: “It’s amazing to be recognised for the efforts that we jointly put in to support Holiday Extras. We want to make sure that the minute our customers step in to our office, we’re making that experience effortless.”
James Lewis, head of partnerships at Holiday Extras, added: “Rewarding and recognising our partners is a huge part of what we do. We work with tens of thousands of travel agents in the UK, all of which offer our travel extras to their customers, and we want them to feel more engaged in selling our products and valued for the work we do together. We know agents like to be recognised, so we’re excited to see how this new reward and recognition scheme is received.”
