Windstar Cruises is offering an eight-night cruise from Civitavecchia, the port for Rome, to Nice next year that stays three days in Monaco during the Formula One Grand Prix.
The cruise, on the 312-passenger Wind Surf, is from May 9-16 and includes a night in Cannes during the Film Festival and calls at Bastia in France and San Remo in Italy. Prices start from £2,674 per person including flights and transfers.
Windstar is also offering a three-day Grand Prix package tour from $2,700 per person that includes a cocktail party with dinner at the L’Hermitage Hotel in Monaco on May 14, seats in the Tribune K reserved section of the Formula One Grand Prix time trials on May 15 and reserved track-side seats for the race itself on May 16.
Meanwhile, French cruise line Compagnie du Ponant is offering a four-night cruise on its new 264-passenger ship Le Boréal, which will be visiting Monaco for the Grand Prix.
The cruise is roundtrip from Nice on May 13-17 and also calls at St Tropez and Cannes. Prices start from £2,010 per person, including wine with meals but excluding flights and port taxes.
