Barrhead Travel is to offer a free VIP chauffeur service for its luxury cruise clients.
Launching in mid-March, the service will be available for customers embarking on a six-star ocean, yacht or river cruise.
It will also be rolled out to subsidiary brands including Cruise Direct and The Cruise Specialists.
The door-to-door service comes with itinerary tracking and full airport chauffeur assistance including luggage handling.
Jacqueline Dobson, president of Barrhead Travel said: “Luxury cruise and river cruise is a significant growth area for Barrhead Travel – for 2019 departures we are currently trading 10% up compared with last year and anticipate continued growth over the coming year. As such, we are focusing on enhancing our luxury product range and services and have several new initiatives due to launch in 2019.”
The Scottish-based agency has a network of dedicated luxury specialists based in each branch. It also has a luxury division which includes a boutique store in Glasgow city centre with private cabanas and events space.
