CMV staff plan peak performance for charity climb

Three Cruise and Maritime Voyages sales staff will be tackling the highest mountain in Wales to raise funds for the Abta Lifeline charity.

They are to take part in the Freedom Climbs Snowdon charity event on April 9.

Trade sales support manager Lyndsey Barron, development manager, north, Karen Delorme, and business development manager, south, Hayley Van der Steen, are gearing up to climb the 3,560ft peak.

Barron said: “We have been practising climbing hills so we are hoping we can reach the summit without any hitches.

“We have received good support and we hope between us to make £500.

“The money raised will go towards Abta’s Lifeline charity that awards financial grants to travel industry colleagues suffering real financial hardship caused by life changing medical conditions, bereavement, disability and domestic violence plus many other things.

“Anyone wishing to help us achieve that bit more will be most welcome.”
