More flight cancellations and delays as snow spreads across UK


Flights from several airports are delayed or cancelled today after large parts of the UK suffered heavy snowfall yesterday and overnight.


Gatwick and Exeter are currently closed while the runways are cleared and Bristol has suspended flights until noon.


Luton reopened at 4.30am after a seven-hour closure and a handful of flights have been cancelled or are delayed.


Heathrow,  Stansted, Glasgow, Southampton and Birmingham airports are open but flights are running with some delays. Manchester and Liverpool have now reopened after a closure yesterday.


Passengers are advised to contact their airline before travelling.


The Met Office is warning of further snow in the southeast of England today.
