A computer glitch led to holidays being advertised on Thomson.co.uk with the wrong terms and conditions last week.
The problem affected the dynamic packaging section of the website and saw out-of-date terms and conditions appear claiming dynamic packages were not bonded.
A Thomson spokeswoman said it was unknown exactly how long the wrong terms and conditions had been displayed, but the problem was spotted on Wednesday and rectified by Friday.
She added: “All dynamic packages booked on Thomson.co.uk are bonded and all passengers who booked at that time are covered.
“However, it is very important to note that although the copy on the site was temporarily wrong, the actual terms and conditions provided to the customers during the sale process before confirming their booking were correct, and all those who booked were also provided with the correct terms post-booking.”
It is not thought that anyone bought insurance as a result of the glitch but a Thomson spokeswoman said they would consider reimbursing the customers if they did.
