Ryndam revived by Holland America Line

The Ryndam name is being revived by Holland America Line for its third Pinnacle class ship.

The vessel is due to be delivered in May 2021 following sister ships Konignsdam and Nieuw Statendam.

The 2,666-passenger vessel is being built by Italian ship builder Fincantieri.

The third Ryndam in the history of the line was switched to HAL sister brand P&O Australia in 2015.

President Orlando Ashford said: “From the first Ryndam more than 100 years ago to the most recent, the namesake ships have been beloved by our guests.

“The next Ryndam will bring new life to one of the most notable series of vessels in our history.”
