The Co-operative Travel offers Cancun holiday to help Haiti

The Co-operative Travel is offering those who donate to Just a Drop’s Just Help Haiti appeal the chance to win a holiday for two to Cancun, Mexico.

The prize includes seven nights at the Moon Palace near Cancun for two adults including flights from Manchester or Gatwick. The prize can be taken any time between May and October, although there are some date restrictions.

The Co-operative Travel managing director Mike Greenacre said: “Anyone who has seen the pictures from Haiti cannot fail to have been upset and moved by the disturbing images that have emerged. It is vital that we act quickly to help the victims of the earthquake, which is why we are supporting Just a Drop’s appeal.

“I hope the focus will lead to some fundamental changes in the long term and help the country to recover beyond the poor nation that it is. Haiti has huge potential to succeed as a major tourist destination if the right decisions are taken.”

As soon as the emergency relief phase is over, Just a Drop will fly in engineers to meet with the local agencies, identify projects and then work with teams to help rebuild the water and sanitation infrastructure. The Just Help Haiti appeal has so far raised £4,659.

For the chance to win the holiday, visit to make a donation and answer the following question: Cancun is which country? A) Brazil B) Thailand C) Mexico. The competition closes on March 31.
