Lucy Huxley begins role as TWgroup editor

Lucy Huxley has taken up her new role as TWgroup editor.

Huxley will be overseeing all editorial content in the group’s portfolio of publications and websites, including Travel Weekly, Travolution and Gazetteers.

She was previously editor of Travel Trade Gazette.

“I am incredibly excited about joining TWgroup at such an important time,” she said.

“I believe the business has an unrivalled portfolio of well-respected brands and a justified reputation as a pioneer in travel media. The investment in the group following its acquisition last year means there are huge opportunities to build on these successes.”

“Everyone who knows me knows that I live and breathe travel,” she added.

“Over the past 12 years reporting on the industry, I have observed people and companies having to radically change the way they think and interact with their customers and each other.

“The trade media has had to do exactly the same, and I am looking forward to ensuring that TWgroup continues to be the undisputed leader in news, communication and analysis for everyone in the industry.”
