Unite union has told the High Court that British Airways (BA) broke employment contracts when it introduced new working arrangements for cabin crew.
In court yesterday John Hendry QC acting for Unite asked the judge to rule whether the airline was entitled to reduce crews or whether BA need agreement from crew before changing working practices.
The union claims it was not consulted properly on the changes, which included a pay freeze and reduction in cabin crew on long-haul flights.
The case continues.
