Royal Caribbean begins building next Oasis ship

Royal Caribbean International has begun construction on its fifth Oasis-class ship.

The line celebrated the first steel cutting of the vessel, due to be delivered in 2021 at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.

The first Oasis ship, Oasis of the Seas, was launched 10 years ago.

Royal said the fifth ship will ‘a bold and unexpected line-up of thrilling experiences, imaginative dining, unparalleled entertainment and the latest technology’.
