Saga has recruited a product and purchasing manager for Europe and a senior destination services manager to its travel team.
New product and purchasing manager for Europe, Michael Fleetwood, joins from Abercrombie and Kent, where he was escorted tours programme manager.
He worked for TWA Getaway Vacations, and spent 10 years at Russian operator Intourist, which is part-owned by Thomas Cook, before joining Cox and Kings in 2008.
At Cox and Kings, Fleetwood was a product manager responsible for Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Russia for more than 10 years.
The over-50s specialist has also hired Emma-Jane Browning, who has become the senior destinations services manager.
Browning joins the destinations services department which is responsible for supporting its teams and developing service levels in resorts around the world.
She spent 10 years with James Villa Holidays, including time as a villa manager in Lanzarote and in roles as head of quality, overseas manager and head of customer experience for overseas.
Saga’s director of product and purchasing, Robert Goodwin, said: “Michael and Emma-Jane’s expertise will strengthen our commitment to providing fantastic experiences and service for our customers, I am delighted to welcome them to the team.”
Fleetwood said he had a proven track record for increasing top line sales, margins and customer experiences.
Browning said: “I am thrilled to be joining Saga Holidays and really excited to be working with our people overseas.
“In an ever-increasing, competitive market, we have to ensure we are delivering an experience to our customers that is simply beyond their expectations.”
