Stop telling agents what to do Ryanair

On checking the price of a Ryanair flight to Dublin yesterday, there was a message on the screen to inform me that ‘there should be no extra charges made by agents’.

This is the latest show of arrogance from Ryanair.

What gives Ryanair the right to dictate whether or not I charge in some way for my service? The commission on a £19 ticket is not enough to cover the costs of myhigh-street location, experienced staff etc. Icharge an additional fee that my clients are prepared to pay (they are given the opportunity to book direct).

I note from their advert that Ryanair charges £3 for payment by credit card on the £19, where the credit card charge is about 36p – nice mark-up Ryanair! I wonder what your credit-card companies think?
