A new Channel Islands air link has been introduced from Southampton airport.
Aurigny is to run twice daily flights to its Guernsey home base on weekdays and a daily service on weekends.
The airline will be competing with Flybe franchise partner Blue Islands on the route.
Aurigny also serves Alderney from Southampton and is starting another new route next week between Guernsey and Jersey next week.
The airline is using a 50-seat ATR 42 on the Southampton-Guernsey service wit fares starting at £59.98 return, with a 15% discount for children aged 15 and under.
Chief executive Mark Darby said: “Our flight schedule offers convenient times whatever your reason for travel is.
“I have already been delighted by the positive reception we have received from Southampton airport and with our newly expanded team of experienced ground staff, we will be able to offer the Aurigny customer experience from start to finish on this route.”
Southampton airport managing director Neil Garwood added: “We are thrilled to celebrate the launch of the new Guernsey route with Aurigny, which reinforces our position as the very best gateway to the Channel Islands.”
