Claire Brosnan has moved from Tourism Ireland to become UK and Ireland marketing manager at Canadian leisure airline Air Transat.
In the newly created role, she will develop and implement Air Transat’s marketing strategy in the UK and Ireland to consumers and the travel trade.
Most recently she was senior consumer marketing executive at Tourism Ireland, where she worked for six years.
During her time with Tourism Ireland, Brosnan completed a post-graduate diploma in international business development at Dublin Institute of Technology.
Adrian Keating, UK and Ireland commercial director at Air Transat, said: “Her experience working in international markets during her time at Tourism Ireland makes her a great addition to our team, and I’m looking forward to seeing how she helps us to elevate our marketing strategies to the next level.”
Brosnan added: “The airline was voted the World’s Best Leisure Airline last year and I’m looking forward to developing and implementing marketing campaigns.”
The airline offers flights from Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin to destinations across Canada including Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary.
