Ryanair passengers filmed chanting racist slurs

A group of 30 male passengers have been filmed chanting racist slurs on a Ryanair flight.

The passengers were recorded saying “du Zigeuner” – a racist slur against gypsies that was used during the Holocaust.

The passengers were travelling from Berlin to Palma, Mallorca on May 28.

The chanting was filmed by passenger Elisa Zenck.

She told The Independent that members of the group were wearing clothes with Nazi and far-right slogans and appeared to be drunk.

Zenck said the journey was “tense and violent”.
