P&O Cruises’ newest ship Azura has arrived in Southampton ahead of naming celebrations this weekend.
About 2,000 travel agents are due to visit Azura over the next two days before a lavish naming ceremony is held on Saturday.
The ship arrived at Southampton’s Ocean Cruise Terminal at 9am this morning.
P&O Cruises managing director Carol Marlow said excitement was building for the welcome celebrations.
“We’re delighted Azura has arrived in Southampton. She will be a fabulous ship for our heartland P&O Cruises customers,” she added.
The ship will be christened by godmother Darcey Bussell, former principal dancer of The Royal Ballet.
