Malaysia Airlines and Tourism Malaysia visited more than 140 travel agents in Manchester and Cheshire this week to promote the airline’s ‘5-star’ mega-fam trip.
Over the course of two days (June 19-20), staff from the airline and the tourist board met agency staff to highlight November’s mega-fam to Malaysia, along with mid-year sale offers.
The agencies visited included STA, Far East Travel Centre, Clarity, Kuoni, Hays Travel, Travel Bag, Trailfinders, ITC, Aviate, Elegant Resorts and Virgin Holidays.

Agents took part in competitions to win return tickets to Malaysia and other prizes, such as signed shirts from Liverpool Football Club, Malaysia Airlines’ official global airline partner.
Daniel Bainbridge, Malaysia Airlines’ regional manager for the UK, Europe and North America, said: “Together with Tourism Malaysia, we are thrilled to see our valuable trade partners in these key travel hubs and invite them to take part in the ‘5-Star’ Malaysia mega-fam incentive and our ongoing mid-year sales.”

Malaysia Airlines operates twice-daily between London and Kuala Lumpur on its Airbus A350.
The mega-fam will take agents to Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands, Penang, Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan.
