6. Cotton House, Mustique
This restored 18th-century warehouse and sugar mill is the only full-service hotel on this exclusive, car-free private island.
It’s a boutique with just 20 rooms across three cottages, seven suites and a two-bedroom villa that has its own butler and private pool. The look is classic Caribbean at its most tasteful, with rattan furniture, four-poster beds and white drapes.
Mark White, Seasons in Style’s product manager for the Caribbean, says: “Cotton House boasts some A-list neighbours including Mick Jagger and Tommy Hilfiger, both of whom can sometimes been seen enjoying a drink at the hotel’s bar. The resort offers low-key luxury and a range of accommodation and is ideal for those who want to get away from it all.”
Sample product: Seasons in Style features seven nights’ bed and breakfast in a cottage from £1,835 per person, including breakfast, BA flights from Gatwick to Barbados, shared charter to Mustique and private transfers. Valid until September 4, based on two sharing. seasonsinstyle.com, 01244 206000
