ITALIATOUR is offering free flights from regional airports in its 2000 Italy for Lovers brochure .
This move is a result of the global alliance between Alitalia and KLM, which means from January 1 the operator will be able to offer flights to Italy via Amsterdam from Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Humberside, Manchester, Newcastle, Newcastle, Norwich, Sheffield and Teesside.
The 108-page brochure, which is valid from November to October next year, features city breaks, flydrives, self-catering and beach and resort holidays. A three-night city break in Florence leads in at £246. Millennium ideas include the three-night Millennial celebrations in Sorrento featuring a period costume ball on New Year’s Eve for £1,699 per person.
