31 places up for grabs on Allure of the Seas

A month-long sales incentive giving agents the chance to win a trip on Royal Caribbean International’s new mega cruise ship Allure of the Seas kicks off on Thursday (July 1).

The ‘Wow Sale’ offers agents an opportunity to win a place for two on an all expenses paid trip during the launch celebrations of the new ship in Florida in November.

A total of 31 agent places – one a day – will be given away throughout July.

Agents making and confirming new bookings for a client sailing on any Royal Caribbean ship in 2010 will be entered into the prize draw.

The daily agent prize draw will include the chance to win other prizes such as a Blu-Ray player and Dreamworks Blu-Ray titles, magnums of champagne, 32” LCD televisions, luxury Links of London jewellery, Wii sets, digital cameras, designer sunglasses and much more.

Consumers can also win one of 31, 11-night cruises to Spain and Canary Islands onboard Independence of the Seas.

Agents are being supported with posters and flyers, and a consumer marketing campaign to drive awareness and bookings.

Discounted prices include five-night fly/cruises from Malaga on Adventure of the Seas for £439 per person, 11-night cruises from Southampton on Independence of the Seas starting at £799pp and seven-night Eastern Caribbean options on Liberty of the Seas leading in at £899pp.

Head of field sales Mark Walters said: “2010 is the first year that Independence of the Seas has remained based from Southampton year-round.

“Winning the chance to be on board the new ship Allure of the Seas for the launch celebrations in Florida will be a once-in-a-lifetime event for anyone, and so we hope it gets agents behind selling more Royal Caribbean International cruises that in turn can win cruises for their clients too.”
