Five awards were handed out at the UK Cruise Convention this weekend during the closing ceremony on board Celebrity Eclipse.
Cruise118 was named cruise agency of the year, reflecting the “high levels of expertise, innovation and commitment provided”.
Cruise agent of the year was awarded to Cruise Thomas Cook homeworker Jo Rigby for her “expertise and knowledge of cruise holidays and as an outstanding sales consultant who goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure she gains magnificent results year on year”.
And the excellence in cruise innovation award was presented to GoCruise for its work in generating awareness by “focusing on new opportunities”.
The award reflected “innovative work undertaken by GoCruise to encourage each franchisee to focus on multiple revenue streams rather than just the traditional routes”.
